We’ve seen quite a mix of spring weather this week – wind, rain, sun, more rain…but we haven’t let the weather stop us from getting things done in the shop! And we’ve added a new member to our team this week named Jason. He comes to us with years of experience as a technician, including working on BMW’s. We’re excited to have him join Reggie’s Motorworks! We’re so delighted to have both Jason and John, and we’re looking forward to some cool projects in the works.
Let’s meet Jason! He’s removing and replacing the transmission on this 1989 BMW 325i.
John has been busy eradicating rust on our 1969 BMW 2002 project. This poor bimmer has been on the back-burner for some time now.
Here’s a look at the passenger side fenders:
On the driver’s side rocker panel, this hole-y piece was removed:
An good piece of metal was put in place:
Here are some other areas that have been attended to as well:
The rear side markers had been removed and slathered with bondo. John has removed all of that mess and the holes have been properly filled in:
More to follow as this California bimmer comes along!
The 1987 BMW 325’s body and metal work have been wrapped up by John, and she’ll be sent off for paint this weekend. Let’s take a look!
Quite a transformation!
In addition to installing a good used interior, Reggie also replaced the odometer gears and did some A/C work.
I have to admit that I miss the swap car…it’s strange that she’s gone! We’re looking forward to seeing her once her exhaust system is installed!
Have a great weekend! Happy Easter!
