Of Timing Belts + Teething

Happy Friday!  It has been one busy week!  I spent a little time at the shop to catch some of the work going on…let’s get right to it!   But first, here’s a photo of our little guy, Remington, who is now 6 months old!  (Time has flown by! How can he be this old already?!)  His first tooth is making its way in!

Last week we mentioned that the S50 came in to have her flywheel balanced…while that’s being taken care of, I couldn’t help but snap some photos of the engine bay:

Reggie installed a 318 fuel pump in the 2002 – it was a perfect fit!

An oil leak brought in this 1992 BMW 735i:

This 1988 BMW 528e came in for a new timing belt and tensioner, camshaft oil seal, crankshaft seal, cooling system hoses, and alternator belt.  She also had a power steering leak at both the suction and return hoses.

Since we mentioned timing belts…we had a 1992 BMW 325i cabrio on its way to the shop for a timing belt replacement when said timing belt failed!  So she made her way here on a tow truck.  (Not pictured.)

This e30, a 1987 BMW 325, had some front end noise that needed to be diagnosed.  She’s also getting new front brake pads and rotors, a new right front caliper, and a brake fluid flush:

This next bimmer came in for an oil change and a new fog light, as well as a new gear shift knob – a genuine BMW part.

Don’t you love the color of this ’07 335i?  Sparkling graphite metallic!

Water damage in the lamp control module of this titansilber metallic 2003 BMW 530i caused the fog light and turn signal to stop functioning:

Here you can see some  of the rust and corrosion inside the module:

Another titansilber metallic bimmer experienced a rough idle issue…this 2006 BMW 325xi touring:

A rusted out subframe brought this e30 to the shop:

This sweet 1993 BMW 325i cabrio came in for a new strut brace from Turner Motorsport (did you know we’re a Turner Motorsport dealer?), an oil change, a new battery, and a new radiator.  She also got a valve adjustment, and a power steering leak was fixed, along with some other miscellaneous work.

Heavy vibration at road speeds brought this ’95 325i cabrio to the shop.  The culprit?  A seized front brake caliper.

We value our community and helping the next generation.

Our founder, Reggie Stewart, taking part in a panel discussion at @noblesvilleschools about their internship program, which we have taken part in over the years. This panel was held as part of their Miller Ambassadors program, which Reggie is part of.

To the left of Reggie is Alaina Shonkwiler (@alainafornoblesville), who is currently running for Indiana District 29 State Representative. Alaina was part of the team that placed interns for Noblesville Schools and has also been involved with businesses that have hosted interns.

The rest of the panel was made up of @noblesvillehighschool students involved in the internship program.

The internship program encompasses many industries and is supported by several local businesses. We believe in the internship program at NHS, as we want to help grow the next generation and allow them to learn about careers that they may not have had access to, and allow them to see if this could be a career path they would enjoy.
