Meet Our New Technician + Upgraded Alignment Equipment and Promotions! Plus A Feature in Roundel!

Despite this week’s April showers, it’s been quite warm, sunny at times, and a great reminder that road trip season is upon us!   We’ve also added another technician to our team here at Reggie’s Motorworks!  We’d like to welcome and introduce Shane!  He’s a a VW enthusiast, and he’s currently restoring a Mark II Golf.  He’s gone through extensive mechanical schooling, along with high performance education.  We’re excited to have him join our team!

We’ve upgraded our alignment equipment to the latest and greatest, the Hunter Hawkeye Elite!  With this comes factory specifications, including any weight that may need to be added to get a proper alignment, for BMW, Mini, VW, Audi, and any other vehicle we may work on.  To celebrate, we have some alignment promotions for you!  From now through the end of April, we’re offering 30% off alignments, free alignment checks with any service, and 50% off alignments with any suspension work!  Call the office to speak to Nick or Nick to schedule your appointment!  317.773.0074

An oil change and a manual transmission fluid change was on the list for this indie blue 2003 Mini Cooper S.  And get a glimpse of Shane at work!

Next up, this 2003 Audi A4 Avant Quattro with possible oil pressure and oil sludge issues to diagnose:

A new control arm, new vibration damper, and new valve cover gasket were in order for this cosmos schwarz 2001 BMW 525i:

This alpinweiss III e36, a 1997 BMW M3, came to us from Arizona for a post-purchase inspection for the new owner, a CCA Member in Michigan!  She’s on a layover here at the shop to have some work done before her new owner drives her home!

Along with a post-purchase inspection and compression test, we’re doing a 5-speed swap so she’ll have a manual transmission!  We’re also upgrading the brake hoses to stainless steel lines, replacing the rear trailing arm bushings, replacing the front brake pads, and performing an oil change. Then her owner will fly down from The Great Lakes State, pick up this sweet e36, and drive her home!

Along with our affinity for German cars, we also dig special interest cars.  You may remember seeing this sweet Camaro on the blog awhile back!  She came in for diagnosis of some noisy idling and a few other miscellaneous issues.  Check out previous posts about this sweet ride here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here!

A few weeks ago, Reggie and I perused some antique stores in my hometown of Richmond, and he found this toolbox full of old wrenches!  After sorting through them for a few minutes, he knew he just had to have them!  While they’re not wrenches he’d use to work on cars necessarily, they are just cool and full of history on their own.
