It’s Friday! And what a beautiful day it is! The latest heatwave has subsided for the time being, and it looks like we’ll have fantastic weather for the Hoosier Vintage tomorrow, Saturday, September 14th, at Eagle Creek Park. Trophies, prizes, and more are in the works for this annual event! Click here to register and to get more information on this exciting event! If you want more vintage bimmer goodness, join the caravan to Windy City BMW’s VintageFest the following day! While visiting the shop this week, I got a little sneak peek of the goody bags that registrants will be receiving!
You may have seen our announcement on Facebook earlier this week about the launch of our newly redesigned website! We are so excited about it! Many, many thanks to our designer and fellow bimmer enthusiast, Eric, for all of his hard work! One of the newest features is the ability to request an appointment online! That’s right! Any time, day or night, you can send us a request for the service you need. Check it out here! Take some time to browse the new site: www.reggiesmotorworks.com. It only seems fitting that this redesign comes during our 2nd anniversary at the new shop here in Noblesville. The past two years have flown by, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to move to a shop that would allow us to provide better service to our customers. Thank you for your support!
And now for a quick look at some of the projects going on this week at the shop! This stunning 2004 BMW X5 4.8is came in for a new door latch:
Next we have this sweet 2007 Z4 M coupe. A few people have asked if it is for sale! She came in for some routine maintenance, an oil change, a brake fluid flush, and an alignment.
This bimmer belongs to Nick. It’s a 2008 BMW 528xi. Sharp!
Engine issues brought this 2001 BMW 525i into the shop:
Rough idle issues brought this polaris metallic 1983 BMW 320i – a future daily driver – to the shop:
She got all new brake hoses, since her old ones were cracked. A new hazard switch is also on the list.
While we focus on BMW, Mini, Audi, and VW, we also have a soft spot for special interest autos. This next vehicle fits into this category. This MG kit car is on a 1974 Super Beetle chassis, and was brought it with brake light issues:
If you’ll be attending Hoosier Vintage this weekend, you’ll get to see the infamous e30 track car up close and personal! Sean had a blast driving at Road Atlanta last weekend! Or as he says, playing in traffic! 😉
Earlier this week, Reggie had to change a tire on the side of I-65…just another reason not to drive on old tires!
The rubber whipped around and scuffed up the side of the 1984 BMW 633csi. Luckily, he was fine, although being on the side of that busy highway was a bit scary. The rubber was easily removed, and the minor scuffs buffed out pretty well. Needless to say, new tires are on the way!
We’re a Tire Rack dealer, and we offer storage of your off-season wheels and tires! If you’re in need of new tires, give Nick a call at 317.773.0074.
On Sunday, we’ll be wishing a Happy 1st Birthday to our son, Remington! His first year seems to have flown by! He makes us laugh and smile each day, we love him so much!
