Hellrot Bimmer

What a gorgeous week it has been!  We’ve had some amazing weather here the past few days!  Join us this evening starting at 6pm for a Cruise-In! #RMWcruisein Remington and I took a quick trip to the shop yesterday to see what the guys were up to.  Before we get to a few cars, we have some upcoming event news to share.  Autocross is back!  Tomorrow the Hoosier BMW Club presents the return of a favorite event, Autocross!  After their former location, Bush Stadium, was converted to prime real estate, a new location has been found.  This fun event will be held at the Indy Executive Airport on SR 32 in Westfield.  Check out the Hoosier BMW website for all of the details!
Coming up on Saturday, August 23rd is Carmel Artomobilia, “celebrating automotive art and design”.  Hoosier BMW will have a BMW corral again this year!  We are looking forward to seeing hundreds of amazing automobiles along the streets of the Carmel Arts & Design District.  Check out the event schedule here!

We’re honored and proud to have been selected to be a Bosch Service Center! This will empower us to serve our customers with warranties, support, special financing programs, technical support and training and more. We’re excited to have even more ways to better serve all of you!

And now for some cars!  Sound good?  Alright!  This next bimmer’s color is called hellrot.  Reggie used to have a t-shirt with the same name plate on it.  Years ago, we grabbed some Italian food at one of our favorite restaurants.  Our waiter noticed the shirt, and after bringing our food he asked Reggie if that was the name of a band.  I always think of that story when I encounter bimmers of the same hue!  We agreed that it would indeed make a great name for a band!  And now back to business!

A brake fluid flush, a new water pump, new thermostat, and thermostat mounting repairs were on the list for this hellrot 1995 BMW 318i 5-speed cabrio. She also has a damaged underbody tray and broken mounting points.

Although this beauty was mentioned previously, I couldn’t help but take a few photos while she was on the lift! This sapphire blue 1985 Porsche 944 was in need of new crankshaft position sensors. An inoperable odometer and dash light issues needed some diagnosis. The heat stays on all the time, so diagnostics are needed there also.  And to wrap up the list, an oil and filter change was in order.  She also needed her hood struts replaced. When we find them to be faulty, we replace them automatically for the protection of the customer and their vehicle, as well as for the safety of Reggie’s Motorworks employees.

The the engine is getting prepped for installation later today in the ’91 325i coupe!  Reggie worked on that while John worked on some wiring.

And then he found some mini’s to drive! 😉 He’s 22 months now. He runs, he climbs, he spins! He loves cars, wheels, anything that moves! Going to the playground is a favorite activity! He also enjoys watching cartoons like Curious George and Mickey Mouse and anything about cars or animals! He keeps us on our toes, and we love him to pieces!  And he had given me the flowers that are on the table too!  Isn’t he sweet? 🙂

We value our community and helping the next generation.

Our founder, Reggie Stewart, taking part in a panel discussion at @noblesvilleschools about their internship program, which we have taken part in over the years. This panel was held as part of their Miller Ambassadors program, which Reggie is part of.

To the left of Reggie is Alaina Shonkwiler (@alainafornoblesville), who is currently running for Indiana District 29 State Representative. Alaina was part of the team that placed interns for Noblesville Schools and has also been involved with businesses that have hosted interns.

The rest of the panel was made up of @noblesvillehighschool students involved in the internship program.

The internship program encompasses many industries and is supported by several local businesses. We believe in the internship program at NHS, as we want to help grow the next generation and allow them to learn about careers that they may not have had access to, and allow them to see if this could be a career path they would enjoy.

With our staff at training, our response times to phone call and messages may be a bit slower than normal and are cutting back on appointments for those days.
