Happy Friday the 13th + the New Family Car

It’s Friday.  Friday the 13th.  And despite the date, we’re feeling lucky.  Why?  Because the heatwave that we’ve endured the past couple of weeks has subsided…for a little bit, at least.   And because of the cooler temperatures, we’re excited to have a Cruise-In tonight!  So come on over starting at 6pm to hang out and enjoy a nice evening!
A quick reminder that voting is still open for the IndyChannel.com’s A-List!  We’re up for Best Repair, and we’d love to have your votes!   Cast yours here!  Thank you!

Back to official business!   Let’s take a quick peek at some of what’s been happening this week here in the shop!

This e30 cabrio, a 1989 BMW 325i, came in for some gauge cluster issues as well as a transmission leak.  While she was here, she also got a new timing belt and water pump, along with a brake fluid flush.  Now she’s ready to get back on the road for some summer time cruising!  Gotta love that!

Another e30 cabrio came in for a new steering rack, coupling, and control arm bushings.  New tires were also on the list for the ’87 325i.

This sharp 1995 BMW 540i came in some work, including an oil change, new belts and tensioner, fuel filter, front brake hoses, and new rear sway bar links.

As most of you know, Reggie and I are expecting our first little one in September, and we couldn’t be more excited!   It’s a boy!  We’re both hoping he has an affinity for cars and photography!  😉  More importantly, despite our small fleet of vehicles, we only have one true family car, my Honda CR-V.  This e34 ’95 525i came up for sale here in Noblesville not too long ago, and we took a look at it last weekend…and we bought it!  It turns out that this bimmer needs a little more work than we originally hoped and thought, but that’s ok because we happen to specialize in BMWs!  Take a look at our new family car!

We value our community and helping the next generation.

Our founder, Reggie Stewart, taking part in a panel discussion at @noblesvilleschools about their internship program, which we have taken part in over the years. This panel was held as part of their Miller Ambassadors program, which Reggie is part of.

To the left of Reggie is Alaina Shonkwiler (@alainafornoblesville), who is currently running for Indiana District 29 State Representative. Alaina was part of the team that placed interns for Noblesville Schools and has also been involved with businesses that have hosted interns.

The rest of the panel was made up of @noblesvillehighschool students involved in the internship program.

The internship program encompasses many industries and is supported by several local businesses. We believe in the internship program at NHS, as we want to help grow the next generation and allow them to learn about careers that they may not have had access to, and allow them to see if this could be a career path they would enjoy.
