e83 X3: How to Install an A/C Evaporator in 2 Minutes

Winter is still lingering around the Midwest, as we saw with this week’s snowfall. Reggie mentioned that the snow was still sticking to the bonnet of this bimmer, despite the over 90° angle. With camera in hand, I went out to take a closer look. As soon as I started taking photos, the snow began to slide down:

This mystic blau 2006 BMW X3 came in for a new A/C evaporator, a 10 hour endeavor:
For this repair, it’s necessary to remove the dash first, replace the needed part, and reinstall the dash:

Overheating and no heat in the cabin brought this 1992 BMW 525i in to the shop. A new radiator is just what this bimmer ordered!
This hellrot 1996 328is was in need of a new left rear wheel bearing:
Reggie listened to each wheel to confirm that the left rear bearing was, indeed, the one in need of replacement:
The rusty axle nut needed a little convincing:
This 2005 BMW 525i came in for a new battery and to have a coolant leak diagnosed. Upon inspection, it turns out that she needed a new water temperature sensor as well as a lower radiator hose:
