And now let’s get right to some cars…we’ve got a few to cover!

First, this 2006 Audi A4 Quattro came in to have the cooling system checked, which includes pressure testing for leaks, inspection of belts and hoses, and testing the radiator cap.  The driver also heard noise and/or a vibration on the right side when traveling about 40mph, so we did some diagnostics while driving the car.  She also got an oil change.

Checking the cooling system and removal and replacement of the in-line 5 radiator were on the list for this 2010 VW Golf:

Another 2.5L, in-line 5 – this one a 2011 VW Jetta SE – came in for diagnosis of a possible clutch failure.  She got a new clutch kit and a new clutch release bearing.

Diagnosis of an airbag light, checking headlight bulbs, and an oil and filter change were in order for this 2009 BMW Z4 3.5i.  Oh, and the Active Autowerke tune!   ~60hp gain?  Yes, please!

The e12 6-series with Callaway turbo kit, a 1981 BMW 633csi,  came in for running poorly.  We’ve replaced the distributor cap and rotor and wires.  We’ve also found turbo boost leaks.  If you’ve been following along on our Facebook page, you may have seen Reggie’s post from earlier this week about information for the turbo being hard to find.  As luck would have it, this bimmer has documentation for the turbo in the glovebox!

This 2006 BMW X3 in silbergrau came in for a transmission service, update of the transmission software, and BG Fuel/Air Induction Service:

Routine maintenance and an oil change brought this 2011 BMW X5 35d in to the shop:

Bearings in the fan clutch locked up in this 3-series, causing the fan blade to come apart, damaging the radiator, expansion tank, both radiator hoses, thermostat assembly, and fan shroud.  It also caused dents in the hood from the inside, as well as cracking paint.

An oil change and a post-purchase inspection were on the list for this 2006 BMW X5 4.4L V8:

This 2004 Mini Cooper S in pepper white came in to have a wheel hub assembly replaced:

Diagnosis of no-start issues and a check engine light were in order for this dark silver 2005 Mini Cooper S:

This 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman S, also pepper white, came in with a coolant leak.  She got a new thermostat.
