2002 Drive Train…Check!
Happy Friday to you! We’re back with more progress to share on the 2002 project! Before we get to that, just a reminder that we have some winter promotions happening! We’re in the thick of a Midwestern winter here, with weather reports predicting a possible 30 inches of snow heading our way next week! Are you in need of winter tires? - Check coolant level, anti-freeze temperature, and pH
- Visually inspect for coolant leaks
- Check brake fluid moisture content
- Check tire tread depth and pressure
- Check belts
- Check suspension for wear
- Check heater and defroster function
- Check battery health
*We’ve also got a Complimentary Safety Inspection, which is a basic inspection covering tires, brakes, major fluid leaks, lighting, washer and wipers, and a brief road test. Valid through 02/14/14.
We’re so confident in our workmanship, that we’re upping our warranty from 12 months / 12,000 miles to 24 months / 24,000 miles!
And now back to our regularly scheduled programming! I visited the shop last weekend to take a look at the 2002’s engine and transmission before being installed:

And now as of yesterday, with the drive train installed, including the engine, transmission, shift linkage, differential, axles, etc.:
She’s 80% wired and still needs work on the cooling system, as well as installation of suspension and brakes. Stay tuned right here to the blog and our Facebook page for more!
